The idea for the Siem Reap Tourism Alliance was not created by just one person. It naturally grew over the past year through various workshops, trainings, and collaborative activities supported by the GIZ ICONE Program, especially the Tourism Support Package.
What does the Siem Reap Tourism Alliance do?
During these sessions, we repeatedly heard the same message from tourism experts and travelers:
Siem Reap has incredible tourism potential beyond the Angkor temples.
▪ However, the destination still has limited and fragmented international visibility compared to neighboring countries.
▪ Independent tourism providers also lack a unified platform to promote the richness of Siem Reap together under one strong identity.
