Start your morning with a scenic drive to Banteay Srei Temple, located about 37 km from Siem Reap. Known as the “Citadel of Women,” this intricately carved pink sandstone temple is best viewed in the soft morning light, highlighting its detailed artwork and unique architecture.
On the way, we’ll stop at a local village community to experience authentic Cambodian life. You’ll have the chance to interact with locals, learn about traditional crafts, and—depending on the season—taste palm wine, palm sugar, and other regional products.
Before heading to the next temple, we’ll visit the Cambodia Landmine Museum, a powerful and educational stop that shares the country’s history and ongoing efforts in landmine clearance.
Next, we’ll explore the iconic Ta Prohm Temple, famous for its appearance in the Tomb Raider movie. Built in the late 12th century as a Buddhist monastery and university, Ta Prohm is now known for its haunting beauty, with massive Spung trees growing through ancient stone ruins, creating a truly unforgettable atmosphere.
