Intinerary

Start your Siem Reap local village tour that takes you deep into real Cambodian life, far off the main tourist path. Discover Kompong Pluk, a special floating village known for its stilt houses and unique way of life. You’ll see local traditions, culture, and how families live in this one-of-a-kind community. Your tour leaves from Siem Reap town every day at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. It takes about one hour to drive the 31km to Kompong Pluk. On the way, we will stop at a local market to see daily life and goods before continuing to the village. Once there, you’ll enjoy a boat trip through Kompong Pluk, a village home to about 900 families. Keep in mind that Tonle Sap Lake water levels change with the seasons, making the village look different. If the water is high enough, our boat will visit the local pagoda; if not, we will focus on exploring the village and its amazing stilt houses.
